UK-based online cash payment provider Ukash is expanding its presence in Brazilian market by partnering with QIWI Brazil, the cash and electronic payments provider.
Under the deal, Ukash will make its voucher codes available at 400 QIWI POS terminals in Brazil, expanding its footprint to 4,500 locations in the country. Consumers can exchange notes and coins for a 19 digit Ukash code at a QIWI terminal, which will be placed in convenience stores, petrol stations and other retailers.
The collaboration with QIWI Brazil will also offer extensive choice for shoppers looking for the convenience of safe online payments without the need for a bank account or credit card.
Ukash marketing director Miranda McLean said the partnership further strengthens its global network, establishing Ukash as a flexible payment provider in Brazil and meeting the growing demand for online shopping in the region.
"QIWI’s extensive network of terminals means we can offer Brazilian shoppers the freedom and convenience of safe online cash payments with Ukash," added McLean.
QIWI offers its payment services through POS terminals and card vending machines enabling consumers to process cash and electronic payments through personal bank accounts, mobile phone accounts and social network currencies.
