Internet giant Google has integrated its peer-to-peer (P2P) payments service called Google Pay Send with its digital payment app Google Pay.
The combination will enable users to send or request money from the Google Pay app. It will also allow them to split their bill with their contacts on the app.
Currently, the service is available in the US and is expected to be rolled out soon in the UK.
The integration will also allow users to save their show tickets and boarding passes at the app’s new Passes tab, eliminating the need to print tickets every time when taking flights or attending events.
The Passes tab will also store all the loyalty cards, gift cards and applicable offers.
As part of the constant upgrade process, Google Pay has been made compatible on desktop and on the iOS platform.
