Swedish mobile POS startup iZettle has expanded its mobile payment service into Italy by launching its mobile card reader as well as its wireless contactless payment acceptance device for merchants.
As part of the expansion, iZettle will launch its iZettle Lite and iZettle Pro Contactless products in Italy enabling businesses to accept card payments at reduced rates.

iZettle Lite is a mobile card reader that connects via cable to smartphone and tablet for free of charge, while iZettle Pro Contactless wireless contactless payment acceptance device that accepts payments from contactless cards and ApplePay.
The service will be initially available at a price of EUR59 excluding VAT.
iZettle already operates in 11 countries including UK, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Finland, Mexico and Brazil.
