Cross-border payment solutions provider Flywire has expanded its operation into Japan to serve the educational institutions attracting foreign students and Japanese students studying abroad.
The development follows the recent launch of firm’s operations in Shanghai, China and business expansion across the Asia-Pacific region including Australia and Singapore.
Flywire CEO Mike Massaro said: "Japan is one of the key countries in Flywire’s APAC expansion and we are investing significantly there to help Japanese educational institutions make the payment process easy, efficient and transparent for their international students.

The company offers currency conversion rates, 24/7 payment tracking, multi-lingual customer service, and the ability to pay in 70 different local currencies.
