Morpho, mobile NFC platform, product and services provider, has established a data centre for trusted service management (TSM) technology, in São Paulo, Brazil.

The centre will provide the infrastructure for businesses that need secure electronic mobile payment solutions via NFC.
The technology offered by Morpho will facilitate entities including banks, telecom operators and public transportation to take mobile payments.

Users will be able to call the centre and for their data to be transferred from a lost or stolen chip to a replacement. At the centre face-to-face service will be offered in Portuguese and Spanish. Morpho, part of the Safran group, is investing €3.5 million and plans to set up additional data centres in Latin America.

Paolo Villasco, senior vice president Americas at Morpho, e-Documents Division, said: "The new data centre is a perfect example of Morpho’s successful combination of its global experience in innovation and state-of-the-art technology with local and personalized service."

The centre already prepared to support large-scale projects and is expected to be operations in late 2013.
