Vantiv Integrated Payments, a company of US-based credit card processor Vantiv, has announced that its cloud-based API triPOS Cloud is now live.

The company, which provides payments technology and processing services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), said the API is available for all independent software vendors (ISVs) and merchants to process point-of-sale (POS) transactions.

Integrated with Microsoft Azure, Vantiv’s triPOS Cloud will further optimise payments processing on a host-based platform for any software provider. The product features recurring billing, BIN management, alternative payments, custom forms, among others.

triPOS Cloud proactively helps to protect customer data through Vantiv’s encryption and tokenisation technologies, and can be used across today’s modern software and hardware form factors.

Vantiv said its cloud-based API simplifies the complexities of payments processing as well as developer implementation, allowing users to tap the power of a secured, flexible, and advanced payment solution that offers seamless updates and ease of integration.

Vantiv Integrated Payments head of channel and business development Matt Downs said: “Vantiv is poised to be a leader in innovation in payments due to our open architecture model that focuses on investment in new technology, such as cloud platforms.

“triPOS Cloud is just another example of our strong commitment to the ISV market thereby creating some of the most powerful integrated solutions in the market.”
