Spreedly, an open payments platform, has added Paysafe as an acquiring option for online merchants.
Under the agreement, Paysafe has been integrated into Spreedly’s global payments orchestration platform to process credit and debit card transactions.

The rollout will support merchants targeting Europe, North America and other international markets.
Spreedly’s Open Payment Platform connects to more than 140 payment gateways and supports more than 40 payment methods. With the addition of the Paysafe Gateway, merchants using Spreedly can route online card payments through Paysafe.
Spreedly Partner Strategy Director Michael Rokos said: “At Spreedly, we believe open payments drive better outcomes for merchants. In a statement, Paysafe said Spreedly will gain access to its experience supporting forex and financial trading brokers, alongside payments capabilities across iGaming, ecommerce, financial services, travel and hospitality.

By GlobalDataThe partnership is already live, with Paysafe have started processing card payments for multiple online trading brokers and financial services companies through Spreedly’s platform.
Additional merchants are expected to be onboarded, with further launches planned through end-2026.
The initial phase of the partnership focuses on Paysafe acting as an acquirer for card payments.
Subsequently, merchants will also be able to integrate alternative payment methods from Paysafe. These include the Skrill and Neteller digital wallets and PaysafeCard, which supports consumers who prefer to transact online using cash.

The announcement follows Paysafe’s recent partnership with Pay.com. Under the partnership, Paysafe is offered as a recommended card-acquiring option on Pay.com’s payment orchestration platform.
