British payment solutions provider Paysafe has extended its collaboration with NMI, a US-based payments enablement technology firm, to facilitate secure credit card and direct debit (ACH) payment processing for NMI gateway users.

The processing will be supported by Paysafe’s platforms in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

While NMI benefits from Paysafe’s global acquiring and processing experience, the latter will boost its integration and offering accessible via NMI’s payments enablement technology.

The firms have jointly developed a customisable payment processing solution to offer flexibility, various features and payment method acceptance depending on gateway and acquiring needs of merchants and partners.

In addition, Paysafe can directly acquire and process Visa and Mastercard payments in Europe, as well as enables quick and easy account on-boarding for merchants.

Under the terms of the latest deal, Paysafe customers will get access to more than 150 NMI shopping cart integrations.

NMI CEO Roy Banks said: “Our core focus is on delivering value to our partners and taking away the headache of having to develop their own technology, and our partnership with Paysafe is based on this guiding principle.”

Paysafe CEO of payment processing for North America Todd Linden said: “This expanded partnership with NMI reinforces this approach and our commitment to developing an unrivalled payments platform for our customers – something we continue to focus on and invest in.”
