Bank Central Asia (BCA) has partnered with JCB International Indonesia to launch new BCA JCB Black Credit Card with travel and purchase benefits.

The card can be used to pay for travel and shopping at domestic as well as international merchants. Discount will be offered at JCB merchant and dining partners.

It provides additional offers for BCA customers such as 2x rewards on retail transactions and special forex rates for customers travelling to Singapore, Japan and South Korea.

BCA president director Jahja Setiaatmadja said: “BCA’s cooperation with JCB is a strategic step to complete the BCA customer travel experience, and facilitate the customer business transaction process effectively and efficiently. Therefore, the BCA JCB Black Credit Card is expected to optimise the added value that can be enjoyed by BCA customers.”

BCA JCB Black Credit Card holders will also have benefits and services associated with domestic and international JCB cards.

Customers get exclusive airport lounge facilities in certain countries, including Japan and China.

Japan-based JCB also partnered with KASIKORNBANK in Thailand to enable its QR and barcode payment scheme called Smart Code.

As part of the alliance, K PLUS mobile banking app users will be able to make purchases at Smart Code merchants in Japan.
