Mobeewave, a contactless payment acceptance solutions provider, has deployed secure, certified contactless mPOS payments across North America, Europe and Australia.
The deployment, according to the company, will allow financial companies and payment facilitators to deploy mobile contactless card acceptance services to merchants.
The company said that its patented, PCI-compliant contactless payment processing solution, SDK and apps are the “only mobile-based solution” certified by VISA, Mastercard and Interac within their pilot frameworks.
The technology will enable merchants to accept contactless payments by tapping contactless cards onto NFC-enabled devices.
The mPOS payments technology eliminates the need for dongles, cables or additional hardware.
Mobeewave co-founder Benjamin du Haÿs said: “The market for NFC-enabled mPOS contactless payments is on the cusp of significant growth and we’re now poised to spearhead it worldwide with a standardised, patented and scalable payment acceptance solution.”
