Billtrust teams up with CardConnect to offer invoice payments through card

Billtrust, a US-based B2B payments company, has teamed up with payment processing firm CardConnect to provide invoice payments via card while improving efficiency and securing the invoice-to-cash process for its shared customers.

As part of the collaboration, Billtrust has integrated its end-to-end payment cycle management solution Quantum with CardConnect’s comprehensive enterprise payment processing platform CardSecure.

The combined solution supports businesses by simplifying the way they process, collect and apply credit and debit card payments.

Additionally, the integrated technology offers customers a secure payment acceptance gateway, advanced merchant acquiring services, and PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) and tokenisation for complete data protection.

Billtrust senior vice president for partner solutions Mitchell Rose said: “Billtrust is constantly seeking new ways to strengthen data security for our customers. The integration of CardConnect’s PCI-validated payment processing platform into our solution, backed by their patented tokenisation technology solves real problems for our clients and is a great addition to our offering.”

CardConnect senior vice president for enterprise sales Mark Passifione said: “Many of our customers are challenged with the very time consuming task of manually reconciling invoices. Through our partnership with Billtrust, we are pleased to offer a turnkey solution that makes the invoice presentment, payment and cash application process effortless and secure.”
